We regenerate indigenous plants, restore ecosystems, and grow community-owned green economies — beginning right here in the Garden Route, South Africa.

Why Fynbos Matters

The Most Endangered of the World’s 6 Floral Kingdoms

The Fynbos covers just 0.5% of Africa’s landmass, yet holds:

• ~9,500 plant species — 70% found nowhere else
• 1,700+ threatened with extinction
• 44% of species have already been lost in some regions

Ecological Superpowers
• Stores carbon in deep root systems
• Protects drinking water for 4.5 million people
• Fire-adapted ecosystems that depend on correct cycles
• Keystone for pollinators, birds, and mammals

The Problem
Invasive species remove up to 30% of local water.
Urbanisation and agriculture fragment habitats.
Biodiversity collapse weakens resilience to fire and drought.

Our Hub & Spoke Model

A central Hub (nursery, tea garden, distillery, training) supplies multiple Spokes (community-run restoration, waterways, sustainable harvest) — a loop that links ecology, culture, and livelihoods.

Seedlings

Indigenous Nurseries & Seed Banks

Training youth and communities to grow native plants, preserving genetic diversity and building local enterprise.
